it is a river
Love had swept him away. It was like a rush, a feeling of ecstasy so fast, swirling, taking him with the current, like running and swimming and feeling the world turn, ever faster, too fast to follow with all his senses.
He grabbed her hand, she smiled, he whispered "Run!", she laughed and they ran.
Running felt like flying, with her by his side it wasn't heavy, wasn't shameful like it used to be. He forgot about whatever was chasing them, it wasn't important after all, just another monster to defeat.
To be completely honest, the thing behind them was a minotaur and it was probably capable of eating them alive (that loudmouth guy Theseus hadn't been of much help either; talking about how he was going to find and kill the beast only to hide behind the corner when the creature took on the Doctor and Rose) but as it turned out it was a big supporter of a nice swim. Luring the minotaur into the TARDIS's pool wasn't too hard and now it enjoyed its time until it found itself back on its home planet, disgruntled and disapproving, unknowing what it had done to deserve this severe unjustice of taking away this precious water.
When the Doctor turned to Rose, she was looking at the controls and turned to him with a smirk. "Where do we go next?"
