A youth stood there, clutching his side after it was marred with the claw of Ganon and his rib cracked.
The Princess of Destiny stood before the flames. Sitting, clasping her hands together... praying for dear worth for her Hero of Time.
"Oh Link..." she muttered. "Please... live... live to see the sun shine upon this damned earth..... live to be my paramour." She pulled off her left glove. Gently kissing it, leaving a lipstick stain, she tossed it in the air. The winds picked up and carried it across the helish fires and into his hands. Link took the time to sniff the sweet scent of Lilac that was embeded in the silk cloth. He then wrapped it tightly around his wound...
and stared at the massive beast once more. Horns that sliced flesh like a dart through paper. Skin as tough as steel. Claws of iron, nostrials of fire... fire of hellish burn.
Tired, exhausted...
He took a momment to catch his breath. His eyes widen as two pieces of steel came down. Barely dodged the reach of it instead.
"GANON!!" the youth cried. "DAMNED CREATURE!! BRINGER OF OUR DAMNATION!!! I've fought you for seven years... and I'll fight seven more if I can!"
He shifted left, and left and right. Moving his body, dodging the reigning thunders of each piece of blade striking the ground. Ganon's nostrails flamed up once more as he pounded two blades at once. One if Link was to dodge it.... the other for his anticipation. The force knocked the weary hero to the ground. He rubbed his nose as a drop of blood came out from the close call.
His eyes widen as he turned towards the princess.
"ZELDA!!" he shouted. A piece of the rubble apparently struck her instead. All of a sudden, the flames flickered out. Link ran over towards her side and held her tightly in his arms. His bloody hand stroked her hair as he tended to the cut above her eye. Zelda placed her hand upon his chest. He felt her grip as she pressed his body against hers... feeling her lips surround his. Tasting her. Touching her. She took his hand and had it gently stroke down her chest. He opened his eyes. Hers stared back. "...zelda..." he murmured.
"...link... I don't wanna die.... now that I finally found you..." He nuzzled his head under her chin.
"Don't worry... you will never lose me... we'll grow old... together... I promise...shhhh" he whispered, kissing the tears that dotted her face.
A loud rumble echoed through the air as the creature roared at the pinnacle of its breath.
Link slowly walked up towards the creature.
Eye to Eye.
His left eyelid twitched as he pointed his Master Sword towards the head of Ganon.
He gritted his teeth before charging at the beast. Swaying the sword in the air.
Screaming at the top of his lungs.... the blade crunched straight into its skull. Black ooze slitthered out... a blast of energy struck the hero sending him to the ground.
"LINK!!!" cried Zelda as she scooped him up.
"Whoa.... what happened?" he asked.
"I don't know.... but look.... "
"What the hell!?!"
The two mice slowly crawled out from the eye sockets."
"Drats.... I KNEW we shouldn't have put in the Flaming Nostrails," muttered The Brain as he checked a small battery.
"But Brainnnnn, the flaming nostrails were COOO-OL!"
"Perhaps... darn this thing is slow. Pinky... WHY DIDN'T YOU BUY THE ENERGIZER BATTERIES!!! I absolutely CANNOT recharge Duracell. No matter.... come Pinky.... we have much work to catch up on...."
"Gee Brain... What are we going to do tomorrow night?"
"The same thing we do every night, Pinky... TRY TO TAKE OVER HYRULE!!"
