Author's Note: This is my first poem I post here. It was inspired by a scene in Fushigi Yuugi so I consider it fan fiction. ^.^ Please tell me what you think. It was a spur of a moment kind of thing but I would like to hear comments.

Disclaimer: I, of course, do not own Fushigi Yuugi. Yu Watase and all the companies she gave the rights to own it. But sadly I don't... :(

We promised to meet
Under the moon and the stars
I waited, but you did not come
I sat down in the light of the moon
Thinking, waiting
Where are you?

The fragrence of the flowers around me,
they do not calm my soul
My heart beats fast
A tear runs down my cheek
Are you coming?

My impatience makes me worry
Maybe it's too early to assume
but I so long to see you
So I wait here
in the moonlight
Only for you...
