Love can break even the proudest of spirits. The Other Mother knew that feeling well. She loved her little Coraline. She was just so… delectable. The Other Mother just wanted to spin Coraline into her web of love. She would get her whatever she wanted, in exchange for her soul of course. The Other Mother did not understand why Coraline did not want that though. Oh, but the Other Mother will creep into Coraline's mind like a spider, then the little girl will see.
The Other Mother hated punishing her little sweets, but they just didn't listen sometimes. Silly, little Coraline, maybe that punishment will teach her a lesson. The Other Mother did hate punishing them though. It means less time for love, and more time to wallow. She was becoming more tired every day. Why won't the girl just love her! She'll show her though, after all the spider always gets the fly.
