Peace At Last?
By: Rikku
Note: This is a side-story to a role play I am in. I'll get the RP posted on soon.
Disclaimer: I don't own Gundam SEED Destiny. I do own Hitomi, Kirsti, Maximum, Fang, Iggy and Monique "Nudge". Other OCs are either mine or my friends. (Note: Maximum, Fang, Iggy and Nudge are based off of the character from the book series "Maximum Ride")
Takes place in C.E. 78.
--Start--
A medium-large family was at the beach, the eldest child swimming with her father, and the younger four played in the sand, being carefully watched by their expecting mother. This is the Asuka family, Shinn, the father, Hitomi, the mother, Kirsti, the 8-year-old in the water, Maximum, the oldest of the children on the beach at four, and Fang, Iggy and Monique "Nudge", the triplits, at one.
"Mommy!" Maximum exclaimed, running up to Hitomi, "Look what I found!"
"That's a pretty seashell, Maxie. Do you want to take it home and add it to the collection?" Hitomi smiled at Maximum, commenting about the collection of small shells she and her eldest two daughters had started.
"Yeah!"
Hitomi took the shell from Maximum, setting it carefully on the beach blanket she was sitting on.
Later that day, the Asuka's had returned to their medium-sized Victorian style house in an area of ORB's Onogoro Island that was not densly populated. Hitomi fed the triplits, then put them down for a nap, while Shinn got Kirsti and Maximum settled in the Rec Room to watch 101 Dalmations. Shinn and Hitomi were sitting in the kitchen, talking about the reason Shinn had cut the trip to the beach short.
"Honey, do you remember what I promised Asuran and Kira at the end of the last war?" Shinn asked.
Hitomi nodded, confused, "Of course, Shinn. I remember promising them the same thing."
"Yeah..." Shinn paused, searching for words. "About that..."
"No..." Hitomi frowned. "Don't tell me that there's going to be another war..."
Shinn sighed and frowned also. "Can't... We don't know if there is going to be another war, but there is a group of anti-coordinators who are planning to attack PLANT."
"What!"
"Sadly... I'd say that you could help, but... You're five months pregnant. I don't want anything to happen to you, or the babies. And, we have five kids. You have to stay and watch them..."
--end--
Okay, I know it is short, but... It's almost ten PM, I'm tired and I have to work tomorrow. I might write some more tomrrow. Ja ne!
