Lydecker, why did the chicken cross the road?

The chicken made the mistake of crossing the perimeter because he saw his training through his child's eyes. If that chicken would have stayed, he could have become the perfect warrior. But that chicken saw just as much hell outside the perimeter as he did before he crossed it. That chicken could have avoided the effects of the pulse. But he was the smartest chicken, and he thought he was in danger. I will find those chickens!
