Alphys had a predicament.

She had never moved before, really. All her stuff had always remained in one place- the lab. Well, before she became the royal scientist... but she hardly remembered the old place she stayed. How did she move all her stuff from there to here, anyway?

Getting her equipment, priceless Mew Mew collectibles, and her fridge up form this inside of a mountain to the surface wouldn't be easy.

She bit on her pen nervously. A tic. Hypothesizing about the strength of the average human, she wondered if it could even be done. Geez. This would be a headache. Talking to human after human after human, signing contracts and oops, you forgot to sign this one! Lets start over! Not to mention the social pressure. Ugh It gave her the chills.

Alphys' thought process stopped short as she inhaled, feeling her girlfriend hug her from behind.

"Hey, doc." Undyne purred, smiling.

Alphys flushed, shoulders tensing on instinct. "H-hi, Undyne." Undyne was all wet, and smelled like the rivers in Waterfall. She must have gotten back from a swim. She awkwardly pat Undyne's muscled arm with her claws before she let go.

"What's up?" Undyne looked concerned. "You're chewing your pen again."

Alphys, embarrassed, put her pen in a coat pocket. "Sorry." She apologized. "I was just thinking. About... moving to the surface."

"Yeah?" Undyne smiled her big, toothy grin. "Aren't you excited?" The monster already started to seem to get revved up. "I am SO PUMPED to see what kind of sports there are on the surface! And I'm ready to be great at ALL OF THEM!"

"Well..." Alphys dragged out the word. "I'm just... worried. Again." She laughed a little bit, snorting.

"About what?"

"How are we going to move all our stuff?" Alphys gestured to the table with all her papers on it. "All the way up the mountain? No human moving service could do all that."

Looking at the mess, Undyne nodded. "Yeah, I get that." She shrugged. "If it's so stressful, we could just leave some stuff behind. Do we have to take everything?"

"Yes!" Alphys cried, rushing over to the table and picking up a pile of miscellaneous papers. "This is all important research!"

A paper fluttered to the ground, out of the lizard's reach. Her girlfriend picked it up, sniggered, then began to read. "Woof-woof Puppy Buddy, the arch-Rival to Mew Mew Kissy Cutie, was panting- the fight had worn him out! But he couldn't hold back his feeling any more for his feline love! 'Mew Mew!' HE cried! 'I-"

Alphys yelped and snatched the paper. "I-i-i-it's still important!" She stammered. "I had to re-write the whole ending for season 2!"

Undyne laughed."yeah, It was anti-climactic." She looked back to to mess of papers. "But Alphys, really..."

"I'm not so worried a-about what we have to take..." She began. "But who will take it? Like I said, it's pretty hard to get all this stuff out of a mountain. And..." her voice trailed off. "Humans are still getting used to monsters."

Undyne hummed, putting a finger to her chin. Then she began to smile. "Maybe no human can..." She began, in a sing-song voice. "Alphys. I just thought of the perfect solution... plus a new fitness regimen."

For a moment, the scientist was confused- then realized what her girlfriend was inferring. "No!" Alphys declared. "I won't let you!"

Undyne grinned. "Come on! No having to deal with human racism, aaaaaaaand~" She wiggled her eyebrows. "I'll carry you too!"

Alphys blinked.

"Explain this again, human." Papyrus said. "There's a skeleton... inside of you?"

Before Frisk could explain human anatomy once more to the confused skeleton brothers, a distant "NYAAAAGH!" was heard. Papyrus and Frisk turned to the source while Sans lazily pretended to be interested.

There, in the distance, was Undyne running at full speed with a refrigerator strapped to her back and Alphys in her arms.
