CHAPTER 1
row, row, row your boat
It was cold. Empty. Like there was nothing there. Nothing there but space, screams, destruction. Something was coming. Something… was here.
and then she woke up. And with a quick gasp the boat rocked steadily against the soft waves of the big blue, she quickly sat up with a jolt, staring out into the sea as she breathed in the salty air "whew, that was one hell of a migraine" she said rubbing her dark chocolate hair, the small boat that she had been drifting in was, well, small with a tiny sail with nothing on it "crap! I must have drifted off!" she said while slamming her fist against the wood of the boat which caused it to rock a little, she shuffled around her pile of belongings on the other corner of the boat, clothes, food, oars, and her fencing sabers "it's gone" she sighed as she began to lie against the deck "well, no point without a compass I guess" she sighed "well another day floating on the sea for captain Zara" and she appeared to drift off once more.
"where did the rocking go?" Zara wondered as she opened her eyes for the second time, as she peered off her small ship she noticed she was stuck on the shore of an island "oh great" she mumbled as she rolled her eyes and hopped out of the boat and on to the hot sand "I could just push it back in but maybe I can stock up here" she thought as she began to walk towards the inner island. As she emerged from the not so dense forest she noticed a town, a small group of houses and shops around a larger and bigger building "hope this wasn't completely useless" she mumbled as she paced down the steep grassy hill and into the town. When Zara got into the town she took a quick look around the dusty dirt roads, there was nobody there, she kept on looking and couldn't find a single trace of human life, so she made her way through the town to the big building, it was a lot bigger now that Zara was standing in front of it. It was huge and white with multi-coloured stripes on some sides, and right in front of Zara where the big wooden doors with golden handles leading to the inside "they better have something good…"
