Daisy sat on a swing one afternoon on the outskirts of the Mushroom Kingdom, staring sadly off into the horizon.

"Relationship issues, Princess?" A familiar, nasally voice asked from the swing next to her.

Daisy rolled her eyes. "Like you would know anything about relationships, Waluigi. The only person you love is yourself."

"...Can you blame me?"

Daisy huffed, snapping her head away from him. "Why did you come here, anyways?"

Waluigi shrugged. "Saw a damsel in distress. Decided to pick-up the pieces."

"In other words, you wanted to move in for the kill."

"Such harsh words from a princess!" Waluigi looked over at Daisy, who was now on the verge of crying. "Want to talk about it?" He asked, rolling his eyes.

Daisy puffed up her cheeks, ready to explode. But looking over into his eyes, she realized that he was just as lonely, irritable, and egotistical as she was. Besides, if she didn't tell, he'd never leave. "Luigi... he's always either working or off with Mario. And he's always off helping save Peach. He's never asked me about how safe I feel. And then when he gets back, he's always whining about how he's second best to Mario. And every time he leaves to help rescue her, it seems like he's gone longer each time." Daisy threw her face into her hands. "And what if something happens to him? I'm not about to raise a family alone."

"Leave him."

"Waluigi..."

"No. You're already engaged. This is when you should decide who you want to live out the remainder of your life with."

Luigi walked up to the palace doors and knocked. It had been about three and a half years since he last saw Daisy.

"Luigi?" Daisy exclaimed, opening the door.

"Daisy!" Luigi grabbed Daisy, showering her with kisses.

"Luigi, no." Daisy said, pushing Luigi away from her. Luigi just stared, hurt and confused. It was only then that he noticed a small girl looking at him from behind Daisy's dress. He noticed the girl's orange hair, pointed ears, and pink tinted nose. And the familiar dirty look that she was giving him. "Who's your friend?" He asked Daisy, smiling gently at the little girl.

"That's my daughter," said Waluigi, coming up behind Daisy, wrapping his hands around her slightly-swollen stomach. "And I'm a royal now, so you might want to be careful about kissing my wife."
