Alex's P.O.V.

After Vashan had disappeared, Marcus had passed out. I looked at him, and then at Kuru. I was trying to decide who to help. Kuru, or Marcus?

Kuru was my friend, but Marcus was my boyfriend. I looked at Kuru. He did try to help me while Marcus had tried to kill me. Sure, he was under a spell, but still. I walked over to Kuru. He was still out. I gave him a gentle shake. I wasn't lying when I said he looked handsome. More handsome than Marcus. Wait, what was I saying? I shook my head. Kuru was just my friend.

Kuru started to wake up. He looked at me, and then at Marcus.

"Princess?"

He asked. I smiled.

"Hello Sleeping Beauty."

I joked.

"What happened? Are you okay?"

He asked me. I nodded, then I helped Kuru up, leaving Marcus alone.

Kuru's P.O.V.

I still couldn't believe that Alex chose me over Marcus. Her own boyfriend.

I guess that means that that they are through. I hope. If you haven't already noticed, I love the Princess. She's so beautiful, kind, and sweet. Not to mention smart, funny, and has a great love for her friends, and always knows what's right. Well, most of the time. Alex was cleaning me up, and I looked into her beautiful eyes. They were hazel.

"What?"

She asked.

Alex and I had changed out of our dance outfits, and into something more comfy. I was glad. I had felt like an idiot, and Alex had looked intimidating to me.

"Nothing."

I lied. You just look beautiful. I thought.

Alex's P.O.V.

Kuru looked much better after I cleaned him up. We were both sitting on the couch, watching some TV.

"So, why did you choose me over Marcus?"

Kuru asked. I had been hoping to avoid that question.

"Well, you're my friend, and I kind of owe you for that frog incident."

Kuru nodded. I'm still curious why Kuru's kiss had helped me. I can't love him. Can I? No. He's just my friend. A good friend, but just a friend. The thought made me a little sad.

Kuru seemed to notice.

"Princess, are you okay?"

He asked. I nodded, noticing a few tears stream down my face. Kuru wiped them away with his thumb. He left his hand on my cheek, and leaned in. So did I. Our lips touched, and it felt amazing. We pulled away, and Kuru blushed.

"I am sorry, Princess."

I nodded.

"It's okay."

I kissed him again. Maybe this was the star of something new.
