In memory to the victims of 9/11/2001.
Sonic Remembers September 11th
On a clear but quite cloudy day over the Big Apple, people gather by 2 squared pools. Along with it, recognizable faces all over. Also, members of police, firefighters, and many other figures. It was the 15th anniversary of the September 11th attacks. It was 15 years ago the city and the whole country was attacked by terrorists who hijacked planes.
The event had a sea of people who had lost loved ones at the site. Also at the site were a hedgehog and his friends; it was Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Cream, and many more. Shadow, Silver, Blaze, the Chaotix, and Manic and Sonia was in attendance. The males (Sonic, Knuckles, Shadow, etc.) all wearing black suit clothing, while the females (Amy, Wave, Blaze, etc.) were wearing a black dress. Cream was wearing a white dress with white balloons to release at the end of the ceremony. Also, Charmy was without his helmet. He had a nice haircut.
While people were waiting for the service to start, there were talks amongst each other on where they were on that day.
"I was in the West Village with Tails looking at the tv. I was shocked at what I saw." said Sonic. "Panic & fear, people running..." he continued. "I still remember me & Knuckles along with Ralph, Felix, and many more cleaning up the mess here in the aftermath. Man it has been 15 years."
"When I see this place, I think about the people who's lives were cut short." said Tails.
"Ever since that day, I think and hope for a peaceful world, especially in all of the current events right now." he concluded.
"We are all thinking about peace." said Cream. "All of us are."
"I think 'why would anyone do something like that?' It was pretty messed up to see planes under terrorist control." said Amy.
"So true." replied Sonic.
Shortly after, the ceremony started. It took a few hours. Then once all the names were read, Cream released those white balloons into the air as a symbol for remembrance, where there was applause from Sonic, the rest of her friends, and the crowd. It showed people all over the memorial that there maybe hope after all.
