Sitting in his room, I fidgeted with the chain of my coat. How long did it take him to friken come back from getting something from Vexen and then coming back to ones room. Well, this was Demyx we're talking about. Sighing, I stood up and was about to make a portal to leave for my room when the door opened. Turning my head sharply, I saw the Melodious Nocturne standing in the door frame holding his head. He was currently staring at the ground before he looked up at me. If I had a heart, it would have skipped a beat or so.
"Ninaxe? What are you doing in here?" he asked. Fear suddenly struck through me. What to say? What to say?
"I....I'm merely looking for something. That's all." I said, coldly as I looked away from him and pretended to look for something. No! Wrong thing! Wrong tone!
"...What is it your looking for? Maybe I could help?" he asked walking over to my side.
Out of reflex, i pushed him away. "No! I'll do it myself!" I yelled and then covered my mouth. I didn't mean to yell. It was just... Ugh! Why'd Demyx have to be the one?
Demyx stared at me with those blue eyes of his. They suited him so well. They were so beautiful. Just like him. He was so perfect in every way. Why couldn't I be like that. Then I'd have a chance.
"....S-Sorry. . .I didn't mean to yell." I said, quietly, pushing the hair behind my ear. "It's not here...I'll just go ask Marluxia" I walked past Demyx. I expected him to do nothing. He would never do anything.
But instead, I felt a tug at my wrist and I turned to look at the Nocturne. He had grabbed my wrist and was looking down at me with those eyes of his. Man, they kill me. I wouldn't let it show though. My exterior was too tough.
"What ?" I asked, frowning up at him. Why'd he have to be taller than me? The frown would have worked if he wasn't.
"Wait. . .I want to give you something. ." he said softly then he let go. I instantly grabbed my wrist and hugged the arm. If I had a heart, I'd be beating so fast.
I watched as he dug around the messy room. He seemed so desperate to find it. Then he suddenly found it. Whatever IT is.
Then he made his way back over to me and smiled his adorable crooked smile. And then he held out a necklace. I just gaped at it with my brown eyes. The pendant was a blue water droplet. I took it into my hands and stared down at it. Then i felt something on my forehead. Demyx had kissed my forehead. I would have blushed if I could.
"I love you, Ninaxe." he said smiling at me.
I hid my embarrassment and sighed. "How could you? You have no heart, dummy." I said, looking down at the necklace.
Demyx sighed himself and placed his hand under my chin, lifting it so I could look up at him. "I wish I could love you..." he said.
