Author's Note: Okay, this is my first time publishing anything Percy Jackson related, so…I'm both nervous and excited. This poem popped into mind when I was on my way to school on the bus. I hope you like it :o) –Epic Hobbit

"My Brother"

By: Will Solace

Once I had a brother,

Who liked to shout and sass.

He was 4'6 of awesomeness,

With a bad mouth there to add.

Yes, he was my big brother,

The boldest of them all.

On a bridge there in Manhattan, we were thrusted into war,

And he knew for a fact that the brave have fall.

His hair was black like the earth,

His eyes as brown as bark.

He would tell our cabin ghost stories,

Eerie and exciting tales in the dark.

He was a good archer,

He taught me all I know.

But he liked to pick up fights,

And once he broke my bow.

My brother wasn't afraid to speak up,

He always stuck by my side.

But somehow he was broken,

Brave and broken just like I.

And I could tell you, I once had a brother,

A guy people somehow knew.

He was 4'6, and hard to miss,

His name was Michael Yew.
