Severus Snape: Born January 1, 1960, Died May 2, 1998
While not much is said about Severus Snape, there are many people who seem to know more of him than others. Snape was Potions master at Hogwarts, although he applied for the Defense Against The Dark Arts post multiple times. He was…shall we say promoted… to Headmaster of the school in 1997. Snape has also been known for being the killer of Albus Dumbledore, as well as a Death Eater, but 3 extremely reliable sources have come forward saying it was all part of a plan between Snape and Dumbledore, and that Snape was loyal to Dumbledore ever since the Dark Lord began tracking down one Lily Potter, otherwise known as the deceased mother of the Boy Who Lived himself, Harry Potter. These reliable sources are none other than Harry Potter and his 2 best friends and companions, Miss Hermione Granger and Mister Ronald Weasley. The trio has said that Snape had helped and protected them throughout their quest to defeat You-Know-Who. They have also said that they were "extremely surprised" when, in their first year at Hogwarts, Snape saved Harry Potter from being killed by You-Know-Who at a Quidditch game at Hogwarts, because as Mister Weasley told the Prophet, "Snape never seemed to like Harry, he just never showed him or any of us any sign of affection, and we thought of him as a scummy git for years. But in the end, he turned out to be a pretty good guy after all." Snape was also a known member of the Order of the Phoenix, a secret society founded by Dumbledore when You-Know-Who first came to power. When we asked the Slytherins for comment on their teacher's death, all they could manage were tears and a few sobs of grief.
