Just a quick one-shot that sorta came to me.

"Peter Pan and Wendy turned out fine . . ." Miley sang to herself while mindlessly staring down at a picture of she and him from when they were together. But did they really? Was there ever really a happy ending in that story? Or was it all a L I E ?

Did I do something wrong?

Why did you have to break me into a million pieces?

"There's no happy ending." Miley muttered to herself as she threw a picture at her mirror. "They were never meant to be together; it was nothing but a lie." And with that she gave in and let the tears pour down.

This wasn't what most of the world saw when they looked at Miley. They saw a girl who had her heart broken, but a girl who was moving on. But that wasn't the case. She was B R O K E N and it was all his fault.

They were over, finished
And there was nothing she could do.

She didn't know how to move on.

She cried and cried. And when she felt like she had no more tears left in her, she cried some more. But then it was there. It was an angel's touch. She looked up and saw that he was there. He looked just as broken as she was.

"What did I do to your heart?" He whispered.

"You broke it apart." She replied looking away.

He knew that he had; and for that he was so S O R R Y . He never meant to do that to her. "I never meant to."

"Well you did."

"How can I fix it?" He asked with desperation in his voice.

"I don't know how to fix it. I don't know what's going to help or make it better. Maybe I'm just not meant to be happy."

"That's not true. And I think I know one way to make it better." He said with a small smirk. the first real one in months.

He put a finger under her chin and lifted her face so her eyes met his. The blue met brown, and suddenly everything felt like it was going to be okay. His lips met hers and her entire universe SNAPPED back into focus.
