Forced together by odds,
Fates in the hands of gods,
Only one can survive,
Only one to leave alive,
24 strong they are,
From home so far,
Some enter in fear,
Others a career,
Why is it this way?
Some to die today,
Others left for tomorrow,
Familys left in sorrow,
It isn't truly a game,
Or a ticket to fame,
But the road to hell,
And they know all too well,
Where this journey leads,
For all the misdeeds,
Surely they're forgiven?
For they've striven,
But mostly in vain,
Even the 1 to remain,
Will suffer here after,
A life without laughter,
Full of simple terror,
Which fate seems fairer?
The ones who watched and stood bye,
The ones who had to die,
Or the murderer, their savoir?
May the odds be ever in your favour.
