Hey this is between ch's 4 and 5, or New Kids and Saved.
I wonder how this is going to turn out, I thought to myself. Me and my siblings had just sat down with Alice, and her friend Abby. I could fell confusion, and worry, jealousy, and happiness throughout the cafeteria, but most of the confusion and worry were from my brothers and sisters, they don't know why I'm drawn to such a little human, and worry that this might end up like it did with Bella, oh, and me eating her, which I don't think is going to happen. For some reason unknown to me her blood doesn't react like others, it's like it would be if I was just a human, meting another human, but I also don't know if it's because I…I think I like her. She is just so pretty, and delicate, and the most amazing thing that I've seen in all of my lives, human and vampire.
"Um, these are my brothers and sisters, Emmett, Bella, Edward, and Rosalie." I introduced them, she wouldn't know who they are, even though they know perfectly well who she is.
"Nice to meet you" She said. They just nodded. Not even a word.
"So, where are you from?" She asked.
"We just moved here from Alaska." Edward said. Only vampires could see through his lies.
"Cool, where?" she pressed.
"Denali." Rosalie answered.
"And how do you like it here?" she asked.
"It's fine." I said thinking it's fine with you here. Edward gagged.
She looked at her watch, sadness washing through her. "Hey, I have to go and get something from my locker, I'll see you in a couple of minutes Jasper, and it was nice meeting ya'll." She said as she picked up her things and put them in the trash.
It wasn't a minute later before worry, fear and anger rushed through Edward.
"Oh, no." he said too low for humans to hear, then he turned and whispered something to Emmett, who filled with anger and bolted out the door.
Something's wrong with Alice.
Without thinking I ran through the door, just in time to hear Emmett say "Hey, STOP DOING THAT TO HER NOW."
I ran down the hall to see Alice in a lifeless heap on the floor, the smell of blood hit me, except it wasn't the delicious aroma I'm used to. It's like rust and salt, as Bella used to put it. But that didn't matter all that mattered was the tiny, defenseless, girl, lying like a wilted flower on the floor.
I knelt to the ground and cradled her head whimpering "Just stay alive, please, just stay alive" then dry sobbing.
"Ow." She said, a human wouldn't hear it.
OH, THANK GOD SHE WAS ALIVE!
"OH, THANK GOD." I breathed. "shhh, everything is going to be alright, shhh, it's okay." I comforted her.
At that moment I decided that I was going to be with her, forever, no matter what happened.
