I've gone on a reading craze, I've been rereading alot of my favourite books that I haven't revisited since I read them the first time. Which lead me to reading 'The Virgin Suicides' again. One of my all time favourite books. Which later inspired this story. On another note, I felt like changing my pen name. I like this one better. So read, review and enjoy. (:

Tess Tyler never comes back to Camp Rock.

The next year you sit in anticipation, awaiting a perfectly executed insult, or a piercing glare from a table across the room. Instead nothing.

Her table is empty, no one dares to sit there. Just in case she comes through the screen doors with a sharp insult on the tip of her tongue.

Whispers and gossip run through the camp like blood through veins. Some say she was shipped off to a bordering school after the whole Final Jam fiasco. Other claim she got knocked up by some guy and was raising her baby in the Irish country side. Yet another rumor is that she slit her wrists while taking a bath. Life got too much to handle.

You never find out what happened to her. She just faded, soon to be forgotten, a thing of the past. By the time the next year comes around her table is filled with new campers. Too young to know whose table that is.

It strikes you how strange it is, considering her mother was famous. But Tess was never a big tabloid target, more of a footnote. Tess Tyler, TJ's daughter. Soon even her mother fades away. The Tylers lost forever.

By the time you outgrow Camp Rock and you move into the real world, she is gone. Almost completely. It's to the point you wonder if she was just a figment of your imagination. Maybe she was.

Now you only think of Tess Tyler when you see a flash of champagne colored hair, or a burst of sequins. She is a dusty memory, to be pulled out only for a moment, because that is about as long as you knew her.
