Her father brought Massimo into the room holding his arms around him reassureringly. Like a child fascinated by the fire but at the same time too scared to come any closer. He had better be scared, that dog. And her father! She could not believe this was happening. And when Massimo opened his mouth, she could not belive her ears either.
"I want three sons and a tomato garden." He proudly announced.
She barely knew him and he was already talking about children? Her well-tried patience which normally handled any situation could not take this and she said with a hiss "Well, I want a daughter."
"Great! Four children!" That was it! Through gritted teeth she tried to maintain her still somewhat calm posture. "I have absolutely no intention to experience four children births."
"Twins!" He was positively beaming by now.
"Argh!" she groaned and left the two men alone.
"Did I say something wrong?" Massimo bepuzzled asked the older man who shrugged.
"I don't know. Looked to me like you were getting on just fine planning your future together."
