A/N: Hyuu! My second KuroFye fic. Just a very quickly written, short one that popped into my head. It's not brilliant by any means, but I shall put it up because I think the idea is kawaii!!

Kitty-San and Puppy-San

'MAGGEEEE!' Kurogane yelled, his face etched with fury. Why was it that that blonde mage had to be so damn annoying?!

The blonde in question sent an innocent look his way, looking very angelic as he did so.

Kurogane grunted. How was it possible for a man, a damn annoying one at that, to be so cute? Cuter than any woman he had ever laid eyes on. It was unnatural, that's what it was.

'What's up, Kuro-pip?' Fye asked innocently. His blue eyes were wide with concern, as if he had come to the conclusion that the ninja had been hurt or something, and was not simply furious.

'Why, pray tell,' Kurogane started, his angry red eyes narrowing as he glared at the magician, 'is there a cat in my room?'

'Do you like him?' Fye tilted his head. Damn sexy…

'No I don't bloody like it! Why is it there?'

When Fye spoke it was not to the angry ninja. 'Don't listen to him Kuro-pup. Daddy is speaking such vulgar language.'

'What the - ??!!'

Just then the head of a small, black puppy appeared from the bag seated before the mage.

'Now look, Kuro-daddy, you've scared poor puppy-san,' Fye scolded, lifting the tiny puppy from the bag and setting it on his lap.

'Why do you have a dog?' Kurogane demanded through clenched teeth. He was starting to lose his patience with the mage.

'It's Kuro-puppy,' Fye said, as if that explained everything. 'And the kitty is Fye-kitty.'

The kitten had resembled the blonde mage as much as a kitten could resemble a man. Even still…

'Why have you got these animals?' Kurogane demanded, starting to feel as if he were talking to a small child. With Fye, that wasn't far from the truth at least. Mentally, Fye was younger than the kid and the princess – at least, he acted that way half the time.

'So that Kuro-daddy can have a Fye-kitty with him at night and Fye-mummy can have a Kuro-puppy with him at night.'

Kurogane supposed that was a sweet reason. But, being Kurogane, sweet was not a word he was willing to use, in his mind or otherwise.

'Baka,' he mumbled, turning to walk away. He could just see the mage pouting from behind him, but he didn't turn to look. Instead, he made his way to his room. Inside, the little kitten was still on the bed, stretching lazily.

Determined, Kurogane made his way over to it, ready to toss it from the room. The kitten glanced up as he approached.

Is it even natural for a cat to have blue eyes?

Fye-kitty meowed quietly and, in a moment so unlike him, Kurogane scratched its ear gently. The little kitten purred happily.

'Damn mage,' Kurogane muttered, sitting down beside the kitten. For a moment he stroked the purring kitten, then, with an annoyed growl the ninja stood, picked up the kitten and stormed from the room.

Fye was still sitting in his bed with his puppy. He looked surprised as Kurogane stormed in and dropped the kitten on the bed beside the puppy.

'Kuro-sama?' he asked.

'Baka, if you want me with you at night then you should have just said. You don't need a dog.' Kurogane grew slightly red as he spoke the words, but he didn't hesitate as he grabbed Fye's arm and dragged him off of the bed.

'Hyuu!' Fye called as Kurogane dragged him into his room, leaving the little puppy and kitten on the mages bed, where they curled up together and fell asleep.
