Drabble #65: Candy
Summary: Aeris finds Cloud's secret stash!

"Cloud? Are you there?"
Aeris unzipped the entrance to the leader's tent and poked her head inside but Cloud wasn't there. She shrugged and assumed that he had gone to collect firewood for the campfire. She was about to leave when her eyes fell upon a lump in his pillow cover.
Curious, she entered the tent and pulled off the pillow cover, gasping as a chocolate bar fell into her lap. She picked it up tenderly, as if it were made of glass and inspected it. Milk chocolate, her favourite!
"Cloud, cloud, cloud," she sniggered. "Keeping treats to yourself? Shame on you."
She poked her head through the entrance to check nobody was around before she unwrapped the bar. Cloud wasn't going to notice one chocolate bar right? He would probably just assume that he had eaten it himself. At least, that's what would have happened if Cloud hadn't just entered the tent. Aeris stuffed the bar in her mouth and smiled innocently as she hid the wrapper behind her. Cloud blinked before frowning.
"Did you eat my chocolate bar?" he asked, staring at her. Aeris shook her head as she desperately tried to swallow the chocolate pieces in her mouth. Cloud's eyes narrowed as he closed the distance between them.
"Show me your tongue," he stated, a small smirk forming on his lips. With a defeated look, Aeris shook her head but revealed the wrapper to him. Cloud sighed before standing up and going to the corner of his tent. Aeris swallowed the last bit and called out to him.
"Sorry, I've just not had chocolate for ages and, well..." she trailed off but it seemed Cloud wasn't listening as he carried a small blue bag to his bed.
"Don't worry about it," he replied, opening the bag. "I've got plenty!"
Aeris peered inside, her eyes widening at the sight of so many chocolate bars. She raised a brow at Cloud, who shrugged.
"I've got a sweet tooth!" he defended.
