So for my first story, I have decided to write drabbles the impossible/soufflé girl and her relationships (not only with the Doctor). I feel like expanding on her character, as she seems slightly one-dimensional at the moment (MOFFAT).
I call this one 'Doubt' and I hope you like it.
Also, Doctor Who belongs to the BBC, and not me :(
Clara often pondered whether or not she would be left behind or forgotten by the the Doctor.
This idea of doubt sprung into her head when Clara wanted to know if she had been the first girl the Doctor had taken away with him. She asked the TARDIS this, and the old cow was only too pleased to show her the Doctor's past (and quite close, judging by the pictures) companions.
It had been some time since then, but Clara occasionally wondered about them. She wanted to know what had happened to them and where they had gone after their time with the Doctor. She was slightly afraid of the answer, which was part of the reason she didn't voice her thoughts.
Another reason that she didn't ask the Doctor was that she herself was afraid. Afraid that he might get angry at her, afraid that he might leave her behind and that she would be alone once again.
So she went on wondering in silence, never asking that specific question for fear of the answer. Oh, she asked every other question she thought of, but wondering about the Doctor's past was a dangerous thing to do.
'What happened to them?' was the question that made her doubt.
