Neji sat simply on his bed, stomach curved perfectly and neatly. Being in his ninth month, his stomach was huge. It slightly irked him about the size, but, his child was inside his stomach. Therefore, it wasn't all bad. He sighed, tracing the length with his finger. "So... I geuss that your listening... how are you today?" A slight kick was his response. "Good, I geuss? Now, listen - when your born, your going to be a good little ninja and learn how to fight just like your parents. Okay?" A small flutter was interperated as 'Yes,mommy.' from his child. He only smiled, tracing simple patterns on his buldging stomach.
TenTen wandered into the bedroom, carrying a pile of books that came over the top of her head. Almost dropping them, she put them on the small bedside table, sighing as she wiped her forehead. "Those books are so heavy..." She looked over at Neji. "I got you the books you wanted..." She handed Neji the two books he'd wanted. "Are they the right ones? Because I wasn't sure..."
Neji looked over both of them, and smiled, nodding. "Yeah. thank you, TenTen..." He paused for a moment. "Our child says it's going to be a ninja like its Mother and Father." He announced, eyebrows raised. He blinked when he felt another small flutter. "They admitted it again."
"Oh, really?" TenTen smiled slightly, sitting next to him. "That sounds good, Neji..." She picked up one of her own books, flipping through it. Looking at one of Neji's books, she blinked. "..Neji..I hope you don't mind me asking, but why did you get a book on childbirth?"
Neji paused for a moment, then he sighed. "Well," He started. "I wanted to know what to do to be prepared ahead of time. Besides," He sighed. "I heard its really painfull. Not something I'm looking forward too..." He continued to trace his stomach, eyes lided.
"Well," she started, looking at him, "there is the option of an epidural...it's just a needle that goes into your back, and takes away the pain, but only for a little bit, though..." She sighed. "What is there to know ahead of time, though? Tsunade said your water will break, you'll have contractions, and it's straightforward from there."
Neji sighed. "I don't know, I figured I'd find something usefull..." He shrugged. "Well, I geuss we'll find out when we get there, huh?" he asked.
TenTen nodded. "Well...you're right on that aspect, Neji..." She folded her hands in her lap, then looked at his stomach. He'd always been very touchy about his stomach, and she sighed slightly. Lifting a hand in the air, she looked at his stomach. "May I..?"
Neji blinked, then smiled slightly. "Yeah, of course." He laid TenTen's hand on his stomach, smilling. It widend some when he felt a small kick in her direction.
TenTen smiled, feeling the tiny kick on her palm. "Hey..." She smiled and gently rubbed his belly. "Hope you don't mind.."
Neji shook his head. "No, that feels good. After nine months of my stomach growing larger, that feels nice..." He commented. "I'm surprised it knows where your hand is. It keeps kicking in that direction." He smiled slightly.
TenTen blinked. "What do you mean it doesn't know where my hand is? This room is bright, and my hand casts a dark shadow...meaning it can see the shadow of my hand. They can do that, you know."
Neji blinked, then looked up at the cealing. "I didn't know that... I geuss I learned my fact of the day..." He looked towards TenTen. "Thanks."
