"We're doomed," Giles sighed on the other end of the phone.

"Doomed? Are you telling me there's another apocalypse coming our way?"

"You could call it that... but there's no way you can stop it."

"It?" Buffy wondered. "I need a translation, Giles. What am I dealing with? Demon? Vampire? God? A mixture of all the above?"

"Neither."

"Then what is it?"

"I'm afraid to inform you that Dawn..."

"Is she okay? Did she drop out of college? Giles, talk to me!"

"Your sister," he admitted, "is getting married."

"Excuse me?"

"That's not the worst of it. Spike's the groom."
