Annabeth and I were walking back to camp Halfblood when suddenly we were both engulfed in a bright light. After that, everything went blank.
I woke up in the infirmary with Annabeth on a bed to my right. I had scratches all over my body. Then, I saw a glass of water nearby and tried manipulating the water towards me. It didn't respond, which was weird since I was a son of Poseidon. But for some reason, I felt a lot smarter.
Annabeth
I woke up feeling a lot more athletic and a lot less wiser. I tried to think of possibilities about what caused me and Percy to black out. But for some reason I just couldn't think well at all.
Just then, Chiron walked into the infirmary with a concerned look on his face.
"I'm afraid I have some bad news for you two," he said. "After your argument with Athena and Poseidon, Hecate cast a spell on you two to switch parents permanently."
