"Sasuke!"

Panting, Sasuke turned to glance back at Naruto. He felt so tired and weak, but yet held a sense of victory close to his heart. Pushing away his weariness with practiced ease, Sasuke slowly moved towards his broken teammate.

"Are you okay?" He asked quietly as he knelt next to the blonde, running a hand softly over the other boy's body, checking for wounds. Naruto leaned into the motion slightly, gazing up at Sasuke with bright blue eyes.

"You saved me!" He cried, tears running slightly down marked cheeks.

Sasuke couldn't keep the soft smile off his face. Naruto seemed so, defenseless at that moment and it was all Sasuke could do not to wrap his arms around his teammate and hold him forever, keep all harm from him.

"Are you okay? They didn't hurt you?" Sasuke put forth the question once more, cupping Naruto's cheek to make him look Sasuke in the eye.

Blinking rapidly, perhaps to push down fresh tears, Naruto shook his head, reaching up to grasp Sasuke's wrist firmly in his hand.

"Thank you, Sasuke! I...I couldn't..." With this faltering confession, tears once more found their way down Naruto's face. This time, Sasuke couldn't stop himself from enveloping the blonde in his arms.

"It's okay. Nothing happened. I'll never let anything happen to you. I promise." A sniffle sounded somewhere around Sasuke's chest.

"Really?" Naruto asked, pushing away from Sasuke's embrace just enough so he could look the dark-haired boy in the eyes. Sasuke could only nod, not trusting himself to speak.

"Sasuke...I...I love you." The words shocked both boys but seemed so right. Embolded by his confession, Naruto continued, "I want...I want you to take me. I want..." Here, he paused, blushing brightly and turning his eyes away in a coquettish fasion, "I want to feel you inside me."

Sasuke gasped. He hadn't been expecting this! And yet..."Are you sure?"

Naruto nodded. "Yes! I...I..."

Before Naruto could contiue, Sasuke leaned down and captured the blonde's lips in a fierce kiss, slowly lowering him onto the ground.

From there on, many unmentionable things happened and, in the middle of the night, Sasuke woke up screaming like a girl.

The next morning, Naruto wasn't exactly sure what had happened. One moment, he was stepping onto Team 7's regular meeting bridge. The next, he was hanging upside down from a tree, sporting a few fresh bruises while watching Sasuke's retreating back.

Swaying back and forth for a few minutes, Naruto couldn't figure out what he might have done to put Sasuke in such a bad mood. But, he grinned devilishly as he cut himself loose from the trap only to be jerked back into the air as his feet hit the ground, it must have been really good.
