Loving something that will never love you back, some people would say it's worthless just because they have never had it happen to themselves. He could love him forever, he would never let go of him. Sasuke had an infatuation with Naruto that grew and grew since the day they first kissed. Sasuke was sure that Naruto loved him back and even if he didn't as long as he new how he felt he would be ok.

Sasuke and Naruto waited for there pink haired team mate to show up. For once Kakashi-Sensei was on time incredible I know. But back to them, the two were talking about some random topic while there sensei was reading.

"Dobe can I ask you something" Sasuke asked

"Don't call me that…Go ahead" Naruto replied

"Why are you always happy I mean people treat you like shit…" "Like you!" Naruto said cutting Sasuke off

"Yes but I am aloud to…" "Says who?" Naruto asked cutting him off again

"Says me and I have a good reason as to why I can do that" Sasuke said

"And that would be?" Naruto asked

"I can do it because considering we are friends, you're like my brother and I have a right to"

"Sasuke that made no sense" Naruto said

"What I am trying to say is…." "SASUKE-KUN" Sakura yelled running up to him. "Good morning Sasuke-Kun how are you today? Umm I was wondering if maybe…"

"No" Sasuke said

"Hey teme, what were you trying to tell me?" Naruto asked

"Never mind, hey you wanna ditch and go get some ramen?" Sasuke asked

"Yeah but what about the other two?"

"Screw'em"

"Ok! Lets go then" Naruto said walking off with Sasuke not to far behind. The two left long enough to get far enough away before Sakura noticed and told Kakashi.

"Well then we won't have training today" Kakashi said

"But shouldn't you at least go after them or something?" Sakura asked

"Nah too much work" Kakashi said

"Wow you really are a lazy ass" Sakura said under her breath

"What was that?" Kakashi asked

"Nothing" Sakura said walking away.

"So Sasuke what did you want to say to me?" Naruto asked

"Umm well what I was going to say was well that for a long, long, LONG time I have umm well..." "Spit it out already"

"I love you" "What in the world did you just say?"

"I said I love you"

"Umm wow can you excuse me" Naruto said running away...god this was going to make his head spin.

God what happened? He loves me for how long? I want this to end wait I know I should have known this for a while. Naruto stopped dead in his tracks and turned tail back to where Sasuke was or wasn't. Once Naruto left Sasuke had gotten upset and set out for the forest. It was Naruto's job to find him. Naruto looked every where and finally reached the forest from there he went to the middle and found Sasuke sitting there staring at the ground. He knelt down beside him and encased him in a hug.

"I'm sorry I did what I did I didn't mean it but it took me a little while to realize that I love you to Sasuke" Naruto said locking lips with him.

"Why did you run" Sasuke asked pulling away

"Because I was scared I didn't know what to do, you just came across as so strong what was I suppose to do?"

"Tell me you loved me back"

"Well I am doing that now so shut up and kiss me." Naruto said kissing Sasuke tenderly

To never give up on loving someone is what Sasuke did and after years he finally got his love returned.
