Author's Note: Ya'll know that I don't own these characters, nor do I claim to. The only thing I own is this plot.

Discription: This is just a one-shot, not particularly based on any specific event...although I did gather some inspiration from the preview for next week's CJ eppy and it has a few "Embraceable You" references. Apparently, it seems this is sometime after "Jump Push Fall".

Jordan was wandering the streets of Boston near her apartment. Quietly she sighed, "I don't want to go home. I don't want to go to the bar. I don't know what I want to do anymore. But...there is one thing I know. I need to do something with Woody. I don't know if I want to, but I know I need to. It's killing me that we're going on like this."

With that, Jordan decided to grab a cab across town.

God, what am I going to say when I get there? 'I love you Woody, forgive me'? No dice. Lord, what have I gotten myself into?

Sooner than she was ready for, the cab pulled up in front of Woody's building. Throwing a ten at the cabbie, Jordan stumbled up to the buzzers. Jordan wasfingering the ring Woody gave her (what seemed like) so long ago. She had found it earlier in a drawer, and that was what had sparked her walk.

Here goes nothing.

Jordan carefully pressed the buzzer to Woody's apartment. At first there was no answer, and she feared he wasn't home or was already asleep. Finally, a groggy voice sounded over the intercom, "Hello?"

"Hey Woods, it's me."

"Jordan, come on up." Woody's voice immediately perked up.

Jordan quickly tramped up the stairs. She was so excited. Her and Woody hadn't had a decent conversation in months. When Jordan hit Woody's door, it was already unlocked.

Just as Jordan reached for the doorknob, Woody pulled it open. "Hey, Jor. What's on your mind?" The schoolboy-in-love grin on his face was easily distinguishable.

"I was just in the neighboorhood, and I though I'd stop by."

"Jordan, you live on the complete other side of town. You wouldn't be over here at 10:30 at night for fun. Now tell me, what's up?"

"It's...it's just." Jordan fumbled. "I can't go on with us like this. We're barely back to 'normal'. I want it to be like old times. I want it to be where we could be together without being uncomfortable. I want you to believe me when I say that I love you." Jordan just gasped and began to cry.

"Oh man. Oh, Jordan. I did believe you at the hospital. I was...I was just hurting. Both physically and emotionally. Oh Jordan, I love you."

"I love you"

Woody's arms wrapped around Jordan. Slowly her tears began to subside.

"There, now that's better isn't Jor?"

Jordan meekly nodded.

Woody helpedJordan over to the couch whereshe laid down and curled up in his arms.

Oh, Jor. This is perfect. Right here, right now. I can't even begin to tell you how long I've been waiting for a moment like this. I love you, Jordan Cavanaugh.

Woody leaned down and kissed Jordan softly on the top of her head.

"You missed," she muttered.

"What?"

"You. Missed."

Woody bent down again only this time Jordan's lips were there to meet his.
