Whee! I've written more poetry! I'm so special-ish! This is another one
about Hiei actually. The first Hiei poem is most popular fanfic as of now,
so I did another Hiei one. Of course, I don't own Yu Yu Hakusho, so let's
get on with the poem already!
A child cries out, shivering in fear
Left alone in unfeeling darkness
Calling for a light to guide it
But no one listens, no one cares.
The forbidden child, this child of shadows
An outcast to be feared and loathed
A tear falls quietly, a small bright gem
Then the child is still and cries no more.
The flames of darkness blossom around it
It shudders but does not resist
The fire grows and soon engulfs it
Still none listen, still none care.
Death comes long before surrender
But still he reaches up his hands
In a desperate plea for help
In a desperate plea for love.
Now the darkness comes to claim him
Though he struggles hard and long
With the dawn will come his death
A last snarl echoes in the night.
Then the light appears to guide him
Snatching him away from Death
A gentle touch to heal his wounds
A single rose to pierce the darkness.
Yay! Well, that's all this time, but please please read my other poems and
the fiction I wrote with Kakurell, Soul Shadows. Also, review! Thank you
