it was just like any other day here in idris it was busy full of Shadowhunters running everywhere some were going to the weapon shop or down close to the where the clave was setting up for a ceremony setting up for ceremony. I was too busy paying attention to what everyone was doing that I never noticed that Jace was standing right behind me he put his hand on my shoulder and with his cold touch it made me jump a little bit he looked at me and smiled,
did i scare you Alec, he laughs I just looked at him and nodded my head no you didn't scare me at all jace, he just looks at me and says

I looked back at him and asked him if he was going to the ceremony tonight he said he had no choice that if his father was still alive he would wanted him to go I couldn't help but think I wish it was me that they were celebrating not this Clary Fray but I respected this girl she saved us all from Valentine she killed him and set us all free and with that she deserves respect but I still wish it was me I wish I could do something that could make the clave notice me but there was nothing or was there.
