Another little Ficlet that been bothering my brain, decided to share before it gives a migraine.

Tom Marvolo Riddle was bored. Had he been up safely ensconced in his room he would have been able to practice his talents, but the matron had demanded he attend this adoption opportunity. (Tom knew it was more to get rid of him then ever see him go with a loving family.) So now he stood in the corner of the orphanages playroom, glaring at anyone that came near. After a while he idly used his gifts to make a spider near him contort weirdly when his head whipped up in surprise. He had felt something enter the room. The very thing that made him different. His eyes quickly darted across the room, ignoring the blithering couples talking to the other dunderheads known as his peers. His focus quickly landed on the matron, or rather the woman that was behind her. She wasn't very tall, only possibly five foot five in all honesty, but something about her aura made her seem enormous. She was wearing a light green dress that went to her ankles, allowing her heeled shoes to peek out. She had light brown hair with bright emerald eyes, eyes that were staring right at him.
