AN: My first SVU fic, originally written for another fandom. Feedback is appreciated.
I know. They think nobody knows, but they're wrong. I noticed a while ago, and I don't think I'm the only one. Every now and then, if we see them together, Munch will shoot me a look that tells me that he's also noticed that my partner is enjoying her work a little too much. Particularly when a certain ADA is around. I almost asked him about it once, but she came into the office before I could. I wonder how long it's been going on, and I wonder if anyone else has noticed. I doubt it, though. Cragen might have an inkling, judging by how he's been watching them recently, but no one else pays enough attention. They're both good at hiding it; I doubt I would've realised if I hadn't spotted them that time, after she caught a blade to the arm. After that, I started to notice it. It was subtle, a glance here, a fleeting touch there. The way their eyes would flick to each other when they thought no one was watching. There'd be hell to pay if it ever became common knowledge. The scandal would probably ruin both of them. That's part of the reason I keep it to myself. If they've decided that the thing they have is worth risking their careers over, there's no way in hell I'm going to get in the way.
