Suyin looked at her partner Edward Elric in disgust, why had the darn military put her with this moron of an alchemist? "Hey mutt, why the heck did you become an alchemist? Suyin asked harshly as the pair walked down the road to an inn that they were staying at, "I'm doing this for my brother, and don't call me 'mutt' 'cause I ain't one!" Edward fumed as his face turned red. "Ch, I'll call you what I want to Mutt-boy, so what are you planning to do anyway, not that I care?" she said smirking slightly at his red face. "I'm search'n for the Philosopher's Stone to revive his body." Ed growled coldly, Suyin eyes flashed a brief look of sympathy but it was quickly hidden, he was searching for the Philosopher's Stone just to save his younger brother? What a noble cause, but that still didn't change the fact that she hated him as well as the military, they'd executed all of her comrades and forced her to work for them.
Inside the inn, Suyin sat on her bed looking at the picture that had been taken of her and her followers a month before they were caught, tears fell down her face as she reminisced on the good times they had together, she was slightly startled when a knock came from the other side of her door. "Come in." she said as calmly as she could while drying her eyes, in walked Edward, "Shoot" Suyin thought as she hid the photo, but Ed saw it. "This is your sect?" he asked looking the picture over, "Yeah, so what?" Suyin stated with as much coldness as she could but loosing it nearly to emotion, Ed saw. "So, the military morons killed 'em all, eh?" "Yeah" Suyin said lamely "That's why I hate being with you, because it reminds me of those stupid dogs who stole my family away from me." She was surprised when Ed put his arms around her in a hug. "Why…?"
"Let it out, you need to get all your emotions out, go ahead and cry."
Suyin broke down, all the painful memories of her sect, the executions, and the military forcing her to join them as the "Crimson Spade Alchemist", Ed was taking those memories and crushing them into dust. "Ed." she whispered, but was cut off as Ed placed his lips gently on hers, her eyes widened in shock, but soon they closed as she succumbed to the kiss. When they broke apart, Ed looked straight into Suyin's eyes "Is it possible to fall in love with the 'Crimson Spade Alchemist'?" he asked with a small smile on his face, "Only if it's possible to fall in love with Edward Elric." Suyin said softly, her heart racing, "Yeah I'd say it's possible to fall in love with me." Ed said smiling "Then it's possible to fall in love with me too." Suyin smiled back. As they lay on the bed and shared another heated kiss Suyin smirked and said "You know, for a Mutt-boy, you aren't that bad a kisser."
"Hey!" Ed cried and punched her playfully in the arm before the pair fell asleep in each other's arms. No longer lonely.
