AN: I write these as Headcannons on a Facebook page I admin. (Take Me to Hogwarts) Just remember that the Harry Potter world is not mine but I do love and wish I could visit the world.

Harry Potter's birthday party was full of the survivors of the Final Battle. The house they were sorted as students when in Hogwarts meant nothing compared to how grateful they all were for being alive with their families and friends. Hagrid was one such person.

After helping rebuild Hogwarts, he stayed at the school as Groundskeeper but still got visitors from the next generation of Lupin, Potters, Weasleys, and even Malfoy. He told them stories about their parents and became their confidante from time to time.

Looking around, he sees the children playing and the adults talking. Teddy Lupin was walking towards him and he smiles. They talked about his upcoming marriage to Victoire Weasley while making hints about his 'brothers' and 'sister' love lives. James Sirius Potter over heard the teasing and came over to deny his crush and proclaim his bachelor status. Teddy just ruffles his hair fondly as Hagrid laughs.

Later that day, Albus Severus Potter and Scorpius Malfoy walk over asking about creatures. Hagrid was fond on these two and reminded him how Harry and Draco could have been like without the war and blood prejudice. He listens and explains to them excitedly about all the creatures he has met.

Before the meal, Lily Luna Potter and Rose Weasley talk to him about books and their familiars. Hagrid was reminded of Hermione and Lily by their intelligence and personality. He smiles and tells them stories about their parents encounters with creatures (at least those he knows of).

Hagrid listens and talks to all the adults and children throughout the evening, whether it was to reminisce or talk of current event. He enjoyed be able to see his young friends grow and survives. He smiles and cherishes every moment he has with them.
