How to Write a Story like Stephenie Meyer

A/N: Following on from How to Write a Story like Kubo Tite, I thought that I might do the same with Twilight. Enjoy!

Just follow these easy steps to write like Stephenie Meyer.

Have a random dream about some random guy and you making out, preferably in a romantic location like on the edge of a lake, or a meadow, you get the idea. Anything goes, but it MUST be a prettiful location otherwise the story doesn't make sense!

Create a main character. But she can't be normal can she? No, you must make her into a speshul snowflake. Because she is just that kind, caring, beautiful maternal figure. Just like you. Actually, while we are at it, make her look like you. And make her name a pseudonym of yours! Some people will call her a self-insert Mary Sue, but they're just jealous!

Next, you must create a male lead and his family. They must all be perfect and dating one another. What's wrong with incest? They must all be awesomely pretty, in fact you can make them vampires while you are at it! Research doesn't count, and if you need to, you can copy and paste off Wikipedia what you need. But oh no! Vampires can't go out into sunlight. Ah well, let's just make them sparkle! One more flaw down!

Gasp! You need a plot! Why don't you make a bunch of poncy werewolves who are like the Hulk, but stronger? But they must be weaker than your vampires, because otherwise how can your main characters get together and have Demon Spawn, or Reneesmacrap?

Congratulations! You are well on your way to writing a novel/crap/waste of trees like Stephenie Meyer!
