" You really have a crush on Spencer? " The question arrived point-blank.

Sam and Freddie were sitting on the Shay's couch, watching TV, while Carly was showering and Spencer went to sleep early, tired for all the slaps and kiks his old classmates gave him.

" Hmm? " asked Sam, without looking at him.

" You... hem.. you really have a crush on Spencer? " Freddie asked again, embarrassed.

Sam turned around to face him, with a little smirk " First, I said little crush and second, I got over him a long while ago "

" No, but Spencer, really? " it was still hard to belive, to Freddie.

" Yeah, really, even if I knew he could have never liked me back. Haven't you ever had a crush on the wrong person? "

Freddie nodded knowingly and blushed a little. He knew exactly how she felt.

" I guess that was a stupid question " Sam shook her head, a bit irritated " We all know you have a crush on Carly who, for the record, will never love you "

" I was't referring to her " Freddie pointed out, blushing again " I got over her after, you know, the taco truck accident "

Sam looked impressed " Oh. So who do you like now? " she asked, trying to not seem too curious. It was unbeliveble that dork didn't like Carly anymore. The only thought of him with some other girl made her stomach tighten.

" The wrong person who, I'm sure, will never like me back " Freddie smiled a bit sadly and started watching the TV again.

" Oh " was all Sam managed to say. She wanted to know who the lucky girl was so badly. Wait, she meant she waned to now who the unlucky girl was, not lucky. Not at all. Anyway, even if she wanted to know, she didn't dare and started watching the TV as well.

They kept silent for a while, laughing at how stupid Girly Cow was, until Freddie asked something point-blank again.

" Isn't Spencer too old for you? "

Sam sighed but smirked " And why would you care? "

" Because... because I'm your friend, and I say that you and Spencer have at least 13 years difference! You should date someone who's 17 like you!"

Sam smirked " Oh, I get it. Someone who's 17 like me. Like who? "

" Like... like... I'd like to watch the TV rigth now! " Freddie changed subject quickly not knowing how to answer.

Sam smirked again " Yeah, sure "

Just when Sam fell asleep on his shoulder a few minutes later, he dare to say " Someone like me "
