One night while Lorelai is playing with 3 year old Rory on the floor in the livingroom the door bell rings.
''come on sweetie.'' Lorelai says and picks her up and goes to answer it and opens the door
''Karen hey!'' Lorelai says excitedly
''hey Lorelai hey cutie!'' she says and kisses Rorys cheek
''come on in.'' Lorelai says and lets her in
''thanks.'' Karen walks in
Lorelai shuts the door
''can I hold her?'' Karen asks her
''sure.'' Lorelai hands Rory over to Karen
''hey baby!'' Karen says and kisses her forehead
Rory just looks at her and chews on her chubby little fist.
''so Mommy how's everything?'' Karen asks her
''oh good.'' Lorelai tells her
''thats good!'' Karen says
''yea.'' Lorelai says
''so where's that boyfriend of yours tonight?'' Lorelai asks her
''oh Leland he's busy he went out with some friends and I didn't have anything to do so I came here to visit you guy's.'' Karen tells her
''aww well we are very visitable.'' Lorelai tells her
Rory bables to Karen.
''oh yea kido?'' Karen says
Lorelai laughs a litle ''she's a little talker lately.'' Lorelai tells her
''she's growing up way too fast.'' Karen says
''oh I know that.'' Lorelai says
Karen sits on the couch and Rory points to her toy on the floor
Lorelai grabs it and gives it to her ''here baby.'' Lorelai says
Rory giggles and puts it in her mouth and chews and sucks on it.
