"How was your surgery?" Izzie blurt out, not really knowing how to tell him. A smile was plastered on her face. She sat next to him and trailed her eye-sight to his eyes. He sighed softly, putting on his hoodie. "Uh, it was good. It was uh. It was fine." She could tell by his tone that he was uncomfortable. She hurried and showed him the folder, with her scans inside. "You wanna see?" She just couldn't hold back the news anymore. He quickly took them from her hand, and smiled. Izzie let out a breath she hadn't even realized she had been holding watching carefully his reaction, and smiling along with him. His smile soon grew bigger; she wished she could save that image forever inside of her mind. He couldn't believe it.

She wasn't surprised when he held her in his arms, grapping them around her waist. She placed one of hers over his shoulders, and caressed his hair tenderly. An even bigger smile soon spread across her face. It was pure joy what she was feeling at that moment. Pure joy. "I'm so glad." He replied. "Ah, I'm so glad" He held her tightly. She didn't want to let go of him. It had been a long time since she hadn't felt that good. A long, long time. Then, she said it. "It's like it never happened." She would give anything to go back time, and never leave him. "Yeah, but it did." It was his reply. "You got cancer, and we got married. And you died, and you lived again. And you left, and you came back, and we got through it." She nodded slightly. His last sentence was all she needed.

"I got through it. I'm on the other side. Iz, I love you so much and I- Till I met you, I used to think I just wasn't a good guy. Growing up in my family and that's what they told me. But now after all of it, I know that I'm a good man and I thank you for that." Izzie chuckled. Still caressing the back of his head. "Because I know now that I'm good enough not to deserve this." He said, shortly after. And it was like her whole world was now, suddenly, falling apart. "Not to have to feel like this. Not to love you so much that I almost hate you. I deserve someone who will stay." He pulled away from her, and she looked up at him

She could feel the tears forming inside of her eyes. "I'm happy you're okay, and I'm happy about your job. And I want you to go, and be happy, and not come back." His face was now, filled with anger. Izzie swallowed. She couldn't argue. Hell, she couldn't even say a word. Her jaw dropped open. She tilted her head to her left side, and looked down, Izzie just stayed sitting there, with him. It was like she couldn't move. She bitted her lower lip, pain taking over her mind, her body and all that was her. He didn't move either, he was probably waiting for her to go. He couldn't believe his own words. She couldn't believe his words either.

Izzie wakes up. She frowns and looks the hell am I?,she thinks to herself. She shortly rubs her eyes and yawns, before she pulls the blanket away and sits up. She needs some more seconds before she finally realizes that she's home. Or a place she's trying to make it home-y. It's her new little apartment in Seattle. It's really tiny, because she doesn't want something else. Well yeah, she made a lot of money last year. Because she's a good model; she has the right size, the right look. She's good. But she's more a surgeon. And she doesn't want to pay her home with the money she made as model. She just doesn't want it. Izzie sighs and looks at her watch. It's 4am. She really should sleep. But she's awake now. And she feels terribly alone. She misses her friends; Meredith, Cristina and even Lexie. But especially, she misses Alex. Like hell.
