Jude awoke to find Lucy gazing out the window. " Morning , Luce. "
Lucy returned the favor and slowly turned her head to look at him. She eased her head back towards the window. " Lucy , Max is fine."
"No, no. It's not that. I know he's fine." She replied, staring out the window still.
"Well, what seems to be the problem?" She kept her gaze on the window. "Just…." She sighed and said
"Nothing . Let's go." She turned and picked up Jude's hand and they tranced down the hallway to find Sadie and JoJo in the kitchen talking about an upcoming gig at the Café . "Morning, Sweetpeas." Called Sadie . " Morning " . Lucy poured two cups of coffee for Jude and herself and sat herself next to Jude on an empty table chair. Sadie had invited them to see her and jojo play that night. Of course, Lucy couldn't go because of work. And of course, Jude was pissed about that. And the fact that " work " involved Paco, the dirty hippie. But what could he do about it? Anyway, Jude would attend without her, as always. He picked himself up and headed toward the powder room.
