The Legend of the Triple Black Adder's
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Alright… this, like most of this stuff, came to me on a whim after a sever Potter overdose… after reading TOOTP, renting both movies and surfing on the web for fanfics and art for hours on end… and scoffing a lode of HP sweets... I'm in love with the chocolate.... Honeydukes best... those little balls you get in the bag and the dragon eggs with the green and orange mush in the middle... ^__^ yum yum... though I'm not so keen on the chocolate frogs...
I don't think it's been done before… and if it has it hasn't been done to often… or I haven't seen it... so this is my version…

Chapter1: Act one... the stories just begun...
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Deep in the forests of India... far, far away from any form of civilisation, a dark solitary figure sat on a boulder beside a majestic waterfall. The blazing sun streamed through the gaps in the green canopy of the high trees, sending dappled light onto the ground below. The falling water roared as it fell on to the jagged rocks, sending up a spray of fine droplets that hung in the humid air, causing a vivid rainbow to form over the moving liquid. Altogether… it was a magical scene…
If anyone had been passing by, that is if they had survived getting this far into the jungle in the first place, they would have assumed he was meditating, he sat in a relaxing lotus position, his eye's closed as he listened to the sounds of life around him. Completely at peace with his surroundings and the inhabitants of the forest… so much so that when the tigress and her cubs come to the bank to drink and cool off… neither are disturbed or bothered by the others presence…
Even in this haven for the weird and wonderful creatures… he was unique in this domain… His long black hair that reached just below his waist, hung loosely round his bear shoulders, sticking to his tanned, sweaty, tattooed skin. His body was lean but with defined muscles, showing that he was indeed in very good shape for his years… His face had an expression of contentment as he sat in his wonderland, his distinguished nose inhales the enchanting sent of the flora and fauna that surrounded him.
Curious tribal-like marking's covered various parts of his bear flesh, over his shoulders, down his arms up his neck, down his back and across his chest. Defining the well kept muscles, sleek black against bronzed skin. One of the more noticeable one was situated over his left eye, the tribal like mark, spread above his eyebrow and down onto his cheek…
But his tranquillity was about to be ruined… in more way then one… an owl swooped down from the trees and landed in front of him… he chose to ignore it… the creature hooted for attention… the man eyelids slid slowly open, revealing the dark obsidian orbs beneath. They stare curiously at the bird, noticing the letter it carried… it had been years since anyone contacted him by owl… reaching for the letter he opened it and read the contents…
'To Mr. S. Snape
First I wish to extend my greetings and hope that his letter finds you in good health. My name is Albus Dumbledore, current headmaster of Hogwarts, I'm more then positive you have heard of us. To cut a long story short, as the saying goes, I'm writing to you to offer you a place as a teacher.
I'm in urgent need of a DADA (Defence against the dark arts) professor, we haven't had much luck keeping one the whole year…for various reasons that I don't think I need to go in to… but I'm not ashamed to inform you that we are in desperate need of your skills and knowledge, I feel that you would make an excellent addition to the staff and an asset to the school itself…
I know many would not even consider you for a position which would involve influencing younger people… but I for one believe in giving people second chances…and we all make mistakes we regret… I for one remember this time I travelled with an old friend to Denmark one time, we got rather tipsy and got arrested by the Muggle authorities… but I won't go into detail…I'll save that for when you get here…
The school year is already under way and my students haven't had the best education in the dark arts… in short… I need you…desperately…
Please respond as soon as you get this… I need to know weather or not to keep looking… but I would hope you will be gracious enough to lend an old man a hand…
Yours sincerely,
Albus Dumbledore.'
The man raised a dark eyebrow… and smiled. Needless to say... he was shocked by the letter... he'd never dreamed anyone would want him of all people to teach... especially the headmaster of probably the most famous magical school in the world... he would be lying if he didn't say he was a tiny be suspicious... who in their right mind would want to higher him! Of all people! To teach children! He was certain people would rather have a Werewolf teach their kids then him... but this guy sounded alright… it had been years since he'd been back to England…
Hell…! He hadn't even seen another person for well over 12 months! Maybe it was time to get back into the fold…? He chewed his lip for a moment… defence against the dark arts teacher… at Hogwarts… humm… good job… very good job... maybe this was just what he needed to get accepted back into society?
He looked round at the beauty that surrounded him… he would be leaving all this… for damp cold England… where the sun barely shone even in summer… teaching a bunch of snotty nosed, bad tempered, hormone driven, teenage kids… how in the hell could he say no?! He lent over to his rucksack that sat beside his boulder and pulled out his wand. Turning the parchment over he used his wand to write a quick response…
'Dear Headmaster,
I would be more then honoured to except the position of DADA teacher. I am currently in the middle of the Indian jungle…and it will take me a few days to find a flowing station… I shall owl you when I arrive in London…
Yours,
S. Snape'
He was just about to reach for the envelope when he thought of something.
'P.S. I greatly look forward to hearing about your… adventure… in Denmark…having been there my self I think I can… appreciate the atmosphere more then most…"
He grinned to himself as he put the letter back in the envelope, changed the name on the front, attached it to the bird and sent it on his way. His dark eye's watched the animal fly off into the canopy and away. He sighed, stood and stretched, working the kinks out of his bones. It would be good to see home again…
He grabbed a length of cord and tied his raven hair into a tight ponytail and packed the rest of his things from the morning in the bag. Picking up a long seethed sword he slung both it and the bag it over his shoulder. The tall man took one last look around what he had called his home for the past year… he would miss it here… and if it didn't work out in England… he could always come back…
He began to walk along the river bank… pass the Tigress and her adorable cubs, splashing around in the green water… some how… he just got the feeling that this year was going to be interesting…

Somewhere in Germany, in the British consulate, the hired tutor for the ambassador and aids children was currently teaching her class of 7 teenagers an English lesson. The subject: Romeo and Juliet…
The teacher was a tall woman, with pail skin and long, glossy, raven black hair that hung to her waist and a stunning set of ebony eyes. Looking very young for her age, all men agreed: she was a very attractive woman…
"Now… can any one give me a reason why Romeo was so messed up?" The tutor asked. Five hands raised into the air. "Yes Steven."
"He was only like, about 13 years old, he was only a child and didn't have a real grip on his emotions."
"That's absolutely right. How could this boy be madly in love with Rosaline the one minuet pining and moaning about how he cares… and the next completely forget her and say she was nothing and ugly? It's was just a teenage crush… not true love…" The dark haired woman caught sight of the clock above the door, it was almost three.
"Ok, I think that's enough for today kid's. You've done really well. Right, for the next lesson I want you all to write a short story, your choice, but it has to be from first person view… and could you all read chapters 6 and 7 in your geo text books… have a nice evening…" there were calls of fair well form all but two students that remained.
"Uuugh… Miss, Sheringham?" A brown haired, green eye's 16 year old asked clearing his throat as the three became alone.
"Yes James?"
"Umm… can I ask you something?" The boy that was next to him raised a pierced eyebrow. Then snorted and rolled his ice blue eyes at his friend. He lent back in his chair and played with the crimson red tips of his long black hair as he watched the playing scenario with grate amusement. The woman smiled.
"Yes of course you can? What is it?"
"Ummm… I know this is going to sound strange but it's for my final piece… For English… you know the fantasy story… I need to have a hero… but I have no idea what he should be like… umm so… I was… err wondering if… ummm… beingawomanandeverything…. You could tell me… ::cough:: what you look for in a man…?"
The dark haired boy didn't try very hard to hide his amusement and sniggered loudly, his friend had been trying to hit on the older woman since she began teaching here. The brunette shot him a murderous look as his face when red but the other boy just smiled innocently back. The older woman simply smiled reassuringly and answered him as if it was just another question.
"Well do you mean in looks or personality?"
"Umm… both…"
"Alright, I suppose I personally like men who are kind, sensitive, romantics always good. In looks… I don't know really… My taste is quite varied… umm… I like blonds…" The boy's face fell. "But I have a weakness for green eye's…" The woman mused. Upon hearing that his face light up like Christmas had come early.
"Really?!"
"Yeah… nothing like a man with green eyes. Is that enough for you? Or do you need some more?" She asked. The boy shook his head vigorously.
"Oh no, no, that's plenty," He said gathering his things. "More then enough, Thank you very much Miss. Sheringham." He said cheerfully. "Are you coming Spike?" He said to his friend.
"Nah, I've gotta lock horns with the mother superior here… I'll catch up later… if I make it out alive… " The other boy laughed.
"Alright then, see you later, at the skate park?"
"If I survive with all limbs intact, sure..."
"Right," The boy laughed. "Bye Miss Sheringham."
"See you tomorrow James." She said as the boy ran out the door with the biggest grin on this face. The raven haired boy pouted at the older woman. She gave him an clueless look. "What?"
"Your encouraging him Mum…" He said flatly with a scowl.
"Oh leave me alone… it's a harmless crush… I'll have you know I'm very flattered…"
"Do you know how embarrassing it is when your best friend pinning after your mother! All I hear is… Oh Spike do you think she likes me? Tell me what her favourite chocolates are? When's her birthday? Do you thing the age gap is a big problem? I mean… he's my friend and everything but… It's just… egggh… wrong!"
"Oh it must be dreadful for you…" The woman smirked. "And their was me thinking you were free and easy..."
"It is…I am... but it's soooo wrong!" He said dramatically. "And your not helping! You evil, evil woman, you! Corrupting the minds of young, pure, innocent boy's!"
"Next to teaching… it's what I do best…"
"You know… I bet the first thing he asks me to do is help him bleach his hair! I bet ya!" The 17 year old ranted, hopping up onto the edge of his mother's desk. He pulled out the black band that held his red tipped, ebony hair and relesed it over his shoulders. He ran his long fingers through the mass and ruffled the fine glossy strands… making him feel better after his school day…
"So come on then… what's for dinner then Jamie Oliver…?" He asked as he idly flicked the small silver Ankh that hung from one of his ear piercing's… he had five in each with a ear cage on the top left cuff…
"I was thinking about… sausage casserole?" The young man didn't seem to keen on that. "Or how about a stir fry?"
"Ah. Now your talking… how about wHOLY SHIT…!" The teen cried out.
"ARATRON SHERINGHAM! When your 18 you can swear all you like! But right now, you watch your language, young man!" His mother scowled darkly.
"BUT MUM LOOK!" He said pointing at the ceiling.
A barn owl had swooped in throw the open window and was currently circling the room before it landed on the desk… the young man was clearly startled… and jumped clear off the desk and scurried behind his mother.
"Bloody hell! Where'd the friggin' hell that come from?" The older woman did her best not to laugh at her son's strange behaviour. She forgot he wasn't used to owls delivering mail.
"Don't worry… it's only some mail…"
"So you weren't joking when you said wizard used owls for sending letters?"
"No… why would I?" She chuckled as she untied the letter from the animal's leg. "No one sent me mail by owl for years… I wonder who it could be?" She mused aloud as she opened the parchment envelope and proceeded to read the letter…
'To Miss. S, Snape.
First I wish to extend my greetings and hope that his letter finds you in good health. My name is Albus Dumbledore, Headmaster of Hogwarts. I'm sure that you have heard of us. I am writing to you to offer a teaching position.
My muggle studies professor has left, she's having her first child and wants to become a home mum… So I'm now in urgent need of a replacement. I feel that with your unique skills and knowledge you would be ideal for the position and make a wonderful addition to the staff and an asset to the school itself…
I'm informed that you have a son and that you have been teaching him in the ways of magic, I commend you, not many parents would take on such a task… I would be delighted to offer your son a student position.
The school year has already begun and my students are in need of a good teacher in this field… and your experience with muggle's outweighs many witches I know…
Please respond as soon as you get this… I need to know weather or not to keep looking… but I would hope you will be gracious to lend an old man a hand…
Your sincerely,
Albus Dumbledore.'
"What is it Mum?" The boy asked. "Junk mail? Is some witch trying to sell you double glazed potion bottles or something?" He joked.
"I just been offered a job…"
"Really? Where?"
"Back in England… it's a wizarding School…"
"You mean… back home…? With other Witches… and wizard… like me? My age?" The raven haired woman nodded. There was silence. "Kewl! Are you going to accept it?" Her son asked, for one in his life sounding somewhat serious.
"It would mean we'd have to move… and Hogwarts is a boarding school… so I'd be required to move in…" A worry soon crossed the young mans face.
"Err… what about me…? Where'd I go? Your not going to dump me in a children's home are you!"
"Well the Headmaster has said he can give you a place as a student… so we wouldn't be separated… if that was going to be the case I wouldn't even consider it…" She said giving him a reassuring hug. He relaxed but still looked a little nervous. "It would also mean that your magical education would be improved… they'd teach you more then you'll need to know…"
"Do you want the job mum?" He asked.
The woman considered it… Did she? It would mean going back to the world she had near enough turned her back on… But teaching was her love… and it would be teaching the subject she most adored… and then there was her son… teaching him was becoming very difficult… he was getting seriously behind… her son had a right to a proper education… and shutting him completely off from others like him was really not fair… he needed to go and interact with other magic folk…
She looked into her sons face… he looked a lot like his Grandfather when he was younger… the same family's characteristics… high cheek bones, tall lanky frame, pail skin and the distinct family black hair… though she did like the red streaks he had done… luckily he had inherited his fathers nose… and the thing she loved the most… his father's startling ice blue eye's… irises so light they were almost white…
She pushed a long strand that had fallen into his face behind his ear… it would be the best for both of them… though she really hated the idea… they needed to go back… she sighed…
"Yes… I want to take the job… It is a wonderful opportunity…"
"Then…" The boy said slowly. "…We should go…"
"Are you sure it's what your ok with it?" he seemed to ponder it for a moment.
"Yes… I'd like to go see this School…"
"It'll be a bit of a culture shock…"
"We've moved round the world tutoring ambassador's kid… I've adapted to five different countries... I'm up for the challenge!" He declared dramatically. Then frowned. "I think… I hope…" Then something seemed to strike him. "We will be able to take Neo, right?" He said, referring to his beloved familiar, a beautiful black and white border Collie.
"I'm pretty sure they need me enough to say yes…"
"Well it's settled then… thought I don't like the idea of her being in quarantine for 6 months…"
"Well you don't have to worry about that… were not going to be travelling by muggle transport…" The boy stared and blinked.
"Cool…"
"Come here…" She said softly, smiling fondly and holding out her arms. The young man embraced his mother, hugging her tightly. "I'm proud of you…" The young man frowned.
"What for?"
"For being so grown up…"
"Oh I try…"
"Your going to do so well there… I know it…"
"Do you think so?"
"You're my son aren't you? And that makes you absolutely fabulous!"
"Arrr, your to kind, darling sweetie…" He grinned, making his mother laugh.
"Oh hang on… I have to get this back…" Grabbing a sheet of paper and a pen she quickly scribbled a reply, saying that they need to get some things from Diagon Ally before arriving at the School. She placed it in an envelope and attached it to the waiting bird, witch took flight immediately.
"I better go tell the ambassador that were leaving…"
"He's not going to be happy…," The boy smirked slyly. "Neither is his son…" He teased. "James is going to be... utterly heart broken…" He wailed, punching his chest and placing the back of his hand on his forehead.
"Oh shut up…" the woman scowled.
