I Liek Seahorses
Do you know why I like seahorses?
No?
I shall tell you why I like seahorses.
They're yellow. Well, not all of them, but the vast majority of them are yellow. And I, Kai Hiwatari, love the colour yellow, contrary to what most people might say. Some seahorses are orange... some are brown... some even look bloody green!
And I like green.
I also like seahorses.
Did you know that each species of seahorse has a distinct number of rings?
No?
I did. Because I am Kai Hiwatari, and I know everything about seahorses.
And you know what? I like to think I am like a seahorse. Because seahorses mate for life. And I will be with Tala FOR LIFE. Whether he bloody likes it or not.
We can't exactly produce babies, though.
But I do like trying.
Teehee.
Do you know another reason why I like seahorses?
Because it is the male who carries the eggs, and then 'gives birth' to the little buggers once they are developed and hatched and stuff.
I envy Tyson.
I want to be like a seahorse and carry babies in my pouch!
Well, I don't have a pouch... but I want one!
So, yes. That is why I like seahorses. Not that I really have to explain myself as to why I like seahorses... but I thought you (whoever you are) might want to know.
And I will get a seahorse if it's the last thing I do!
