Prologue: The Beginning
The night was filled with tranquility, peaceful and breezy. No other figures were in sight. The spot had been her favorite since she discovered it. With attractive scenic that never failed to amaze and astound her, she felt free and away from the world. She loved the feeling of freedom, not being restricted from any limitations. Being able to do anything, and everything, she loved the feeling of being in control. Controlling her feelings. Feelings she was never supposed to have. Love. Lust. Towards Fujima Kenji, her guardian.
/OMG! LUST! AND KENJI, OF ALL PEOPLE!/
The fact that he was more than 25 years older /!!!/ than her was not the problem. Neither was it because he was humankind's savior, recognized and remembered. Nor was it ever because he was her guardian, the one she was entrusted to at the age of 12, after her father's death. She would never allow any 'old-fashioned tradition' to stop her love for the man of her dreams. It would take her something else to put a total dead end to her overwhelming love. Something, or rather, someone, she was helpless against- Neriyu Zinxe. Though his fiancée had been dead for around 23 years, Fujima's love for her stood as firmly as how it was before her death. Perhaps stronger.
She knew Neriyu had to be something /I'm damn sure she is/, to be able to lock Fujima's heart with keys no other women could ever find. Still, even that could not stop her from dreaming, secretly fantasying, that one day Fujima would love her back /oooh, definitely/. It might be beyond man's abilities, but never beyond possibilities. Being Fujima's 'adoptive daughter', she knew much more about the scientific world and its infinite possibilities than most of Earth's dwellers. She knew of the double T's (Time Travelers), formed five thousands years in the future, which brought Neriyu to Fujima. She knew it was not impossible to break and invade the time flow. /HELL YEAH!/
Although time travelers' every move was limited by nature's laws, she was determined to find the key of the gate to the river or time. Day after day, she prayed that miracles would happen. Night after night, she went to bed despaired, realizing her wishes and prayers were in vain. She could never return to the time before Fujima met his life-long love. She wished, and she prayed, over and over again, each day without success. Yet, her strong love for Fujima would not allow her to give up. She truly believed, that one day she would win her heart. She could defeat a dead girl… couldn't she?
Wake up, Saeko… Neriyu-chan died so Fujima-kun would continue to live, she reminded herself. Do you really think Fujima-kun will ever forget about her JUST because she's dead?
Just as she relieved a sigh of desperation, she saw a shooting star flying across the peaceful star-dotted layer of darkness. A wishing star. A wishing star. Silently, she closed her eyes, and mentally made a wish.
I wish… I will wake up tomorrow
morning, 25 years in the past…

Messages from the authors;
Saeko: THAT was so amazing. I wish I could write like that.
I really do. Add that to my flamer, then the fact that everybody's getting
sick here, AND the fact that John Grisham's 'The Client' is making me rave
about it's ending. WHY??? WHYYYY????!!!
Nellie: So, what do you think? Another sci-fi-like fic! Will be continuing my other fics soon! :P
Alas, not to forget... REVIEW :) Thanks...
