A/N: First time PetShop of Horrors fanfiction because I'm new to the fandom of PetSHop of Horrors. This takes place in the PetShop of Horrors-Tokyo where it shows about the photograph the Hitler's wife Eva took (the famous one of D and the 2 vampires). I couldn't help but think "What if this happened afterwards…."

He could sense him, ever since that shopkeeper mentioned he had been there, D could feel his presence here in the city seeking him out. He had to get away before he found him. He had avoided Leon for this long and he wasn't about to lose now. Running back into the shop, he called all the animals together and they slowly filled the old leather suitcase he kept with him. Shutting the doors he apologized to the girls who had unknowingly gave him the edge over Leon. He could get away again, but this wasn't the first time he had come close. Three cities back Leon had cornered him in a small bookstore next to the café where he had been eating the owner's delicious homemade cake. If it hadn't been for T-chan he probably would have gotten caught.

Forcing the though from his mind, he hurried down the street looking frantically for the nearest bus stop. He could never know when he was being watched so he slowed his pace a little and tried to relax. It's not like he's going to find me now—he started to think when an arm grabbed his shoulder from a nearby alley. "D!" the voice shouted, and D internally panicked. He really found me

Leon pulled him around to face him, face unshaved but excited. "I can't believe I caught up you little shit. You're not getting away now," he said roughly, grabbing D's other arm, the one with the suitcase.

Looking Leon in the eyes, D smiled sadly. "I'm glad to see you so well," he said causing Leon to grin widely.

"Like hell I am, chasing you around everywhere. I don't know what cities to start in until I hear nasty rumors about a pretty Chinese man selling illegal animals and trafficking humans. Then it's not so hard but one hell of a job," he said, his grip relaxing.

"I'm sorry I'm putting you through so much trouble. You could just stop, it would be easier," D reminded him.

Narrowing his eyes, Leon scowled. "But you're not getting away this time."

"Says the dashing policeman," D said with a smile.

"Shaddup!" Leon said, face turning red as he let go of D completely.

D's eyes narrowed as he smiled. "And the bandit makes his escape," and suddenly bolted into the alley, jumping atop a trashcan and leaping to the rooftops and away before Leon could even figure out what had happened.

Leon frowned, and as he shaded his eyes against the bright sun, he suddenly smiled. "And it starts again, D," he said to the empty air, before running off to find his car.

A/N: Hope it wasn't bad… .'''
