A/N- came up with this randomly, got no sleep. MIGHT be continued soon :)
spoilers? no. this is AU as hell. lol. and it's safe, I don't believe there's dirty words. and it's really short, just sayin.
Emma Pillsbury told herself she'd only use the student restrooms if it were absolutely necessary.
Right now, it was absolutely necessary.
As she finished up, she heard someone else rush in, slamming the door open. Emma stayed in the stall, then she heard the younger girl.
"Damnit, Fabray, pull yourself together!"
Quinn Fabray?
She was head Cheerio, she was popular, what could have her so upset?
"You CANNOT like her."
Who?
"You're Quinn Fabray, and she's...she's THAT, you cannot like THAT. You've tortured her for years she's disgusting. your enemy. That's all she is now, that's all she'll EVER be... She probably hates you anyway. This is hopeless."
Emma was curious as to who this mystery girl is, but the redhead needed to leave the stall, she needed to wash her hands in fear of catching some disease from the buildup of all the germs.
The blonde girl at the sink jumped when the stall door opened. She wiped the visible tears off of her face before speaking. "Oh, um, Hi, Ms. Pillsbury."
"Hello Quinn. I don't mean to be rude but I couldn't help but overhear what you were saying, well, yelling at the bathroom mirror. Is everything alright?"
"Not really, but I'll live, I've lived with this crap for months now."
"Would you feel more comfortable talking about this in my office, Quinn?. It's better to talk to someone. And I assure you it will be between us, there is a privacy policy in my office as you know."
The teen nodded. 'Why not?' she thought. 'Can't really hurt.'
"It was after that damn Glee performance. It was those short shorts. When she was dancing with Finn, I felt like Puck, like I just had this urge. And to make matters worse, she was dancing with my BOYFRIEND." Quinn put her face in her hands. Why was this happening to her?
"Well, at this point in your life, your hormones go quite crazy, it's the whole 'teenage angst' dillema. But this seems to be more that just urges and hormones."
"Yeah. It is. I mean, I should have been more upset that she was basically dry humping my boyfriend, but I was mad at HIM for touching her like that, and not because it's technically cheating, but because I wanted to be in his position. What is wrong with me?. I'm a girl, I shouldn't want Rachel Berry like this. it's wrong, Ms. Pillsbury. I'm Catholic!"
"Quinn, I know your religion is important to you, but have you ever thought about your happiness?. In college, I had to take a religion class, and I have yet to come across a part in the bible where it says 'homosexuality is a sin.' What if Rachel Berry is your soulmate and you just ignore it? What then? you settle for...some gym teacher that disgusts you, but you date him just because Rachel is unavailable?"
Quinn knew Ms. Pillsbury was kind of talking about herself, but the guidance counselor had a point.
"But she hates me. I've tormented her for years. I don't deserve a second glance from her."
"You don't know that, Quinn. I think there's something you can still do. I don't know what, but I don't think your chances are up with Rachel."
Quinn had an idea.
The blonde suddenly stood up. "You're right, Ms. Pillsbury. Thank you." She turned to leave, as Quinn was halfway out the door, she turned back.
"Oh, Ms. Pillsbury?"
"Yes, Quinn?"
"Don't give up on Mr. Shue either." the Cheerio said with a smile. And with that, she left the office.
