Chapter One- Two Different Worlds-
Egypt was known as the dividing lands. For it was split into two regions each classified as wealthy and unweathly.
The wealthy, AKA- HIGHER CLASS, received the upmost care and attention while the Peasants, AKA- LOWER CLASS, were treated like dirt off the bottom of someone's shoe. If you belonged to the upper part then you were of Noble blood but if you were with the lower class than you were considered an ordinary loser.
And the feud remained between these two sides making sure that by law no one was allowed to cross into the others territory. And if such infringement was made then immediate death at the gallows would follow.
But in all cases there is always that one………………………………………..
Yugi Motto is categorized as that solitary person, living a hidden life all in the name of one thing, his grandpa.
He risked it all the day he turned sixteen and is now the servant of courageous and powerful man who was named Akunamkanon.
Unlike many other deliverers from the low life side Yugi was different. He was chosen by Akunamkanon for one purpose. And that was to take the place of his son who he was so forcefully trying to ban.
Hate was set between the two family rivals but Yugi had no idea he was caught in the middle of something that was simply insane. To tell you the truth he had no idea that Akunamkanon had a son. He never once mentioned him but in all cases he remembers someone by the name of Atemu.
He remembers their fragrance, there crimson orbs but for the life of him he couldn't tell where or when he had seen this stranger. It was all a blur and he wasn't going to stop to think about it.
"Ah there you are Yugi…….just in time" Akunamkanon sneered rushing to his aid as if in a mad hurry.
"Y-yes just like I promised" Yugi panted trying to rebuild his normal breathing rate.
"Quickly hand it here then scram! The guards will be coming at any moment to deal with something personal so please hand it here!"
Yugi gazed up from his position and nodded handing him the basket of supplies that took him all day to find. There was no moment that passed before the wooden creation was sent to him as he turned fleeing into the bushes just as the steps of hurried foot placing could be heard.
"Where is he? Where is the thief?" The guards stated spreading out.
"Last time I checked he was in my room with a bundle of gold! You might want to go find him before he gets away!" Akunamkanon roared in anger slightly displeased that his son was sneaking about.
Yugi knew that they were looking for him so he got scared and quickly headed away. That is until he heard the guards shouting. He quickened his pace and ran as fast as he could in hopes of getting away but crashed into someone else who was in a running mode.
They both met the hard floor entangling their arms and legs within eachother as each one scrambled to their feet.
"I- I am so sorry" Yugi motioned dusting of the other boy.
He was about to be off his way until the guards surrounded them and at that moment he knew he was trapped.
"Atemu by the orders of the Pharaoh you are to come with us!"
Yugi heard the name again and stared at the figure wearing a cape with a hood attached to it. His face was un seeable but Yugi desperately wanted to remember.
