A/N I don't own the characters, sadly. They belong to Rick Riordan. Ohh, and in case there's any confusion, in this Nico is about 16, and Grace is the girl Nico's dating. I don't think there's any other story with this pairing.. So, lets see how it goes.
She didn't know where they went wrong. One day he just sent her a text saying he thought they should break up. ''Because I never see you." Was his excuse. But she knew the real reason. He finally found someone better.

A few weeks later, her thoughts were confirmed. He got together with a pretty girl from the Demeter cabin. It killed her, seeing them so happy together. But she didn't say anything. Because if he was happy, she was happy too. Right?

"Hey." She said to him, one day my the strawberry fields.
"Hi!" He said, smiling at her. And just like that, it was the first real conversation she had with him in months. About two weeks later, she gets a text from him. And in the same night, a phone call.

She snuck out of her cabin with him almost every night now, and they sat down by the lake. He told her he still loved her, and he didn't know what he was thinking, because breaking up with her was the biggest mistake he'd ever made. And she would hug him and kiss him and tell him it's alright. And while she did, she'd try to pretend it wasn't the smell of Grace's perfume lingering on him.

She couldn't help feeling guilty. Grace was so sweet to everyone, including her. So one night she told him that maybe it's be best if they didn't acknowledge their feeling, at least not while he had a girlfriend. And just like that, the next night when she went down to the lake he wasn't there.
