First Poem posted. Please review. I don't own CATS!
Magic and color whirl around me
The lights flicker
I am surrounded by a sea of Jellicle faces
They love me
It was wonderful
But more importantly
I was free!
I was performing for them all
And I was free!
No one jeered
No one looked down upon me
Iwas the king of the world!
But then,
The lights go off
The show has ended
And I am left alone.
No matter how many tricks I played
No matter the size of the feat
When the lights go out,
I am and always will be
