"A curse that makes people hungry?" Sam asked, eyebrows raised, tone disbelieving.
"Not hungry. Ravenous."
Sam snorted. "If you get cursed, how will we know?"
Dean met his gaze, "There's more."
"What?" Sam asked, curious now.
"It doesn't necessarily mean ravenous for food. Could be ravenous for sex. Or information. Or caring and sharing." Dean's eyes widened comically. "Which means maybe there's hope for you. We reverse the curse and you can finally be a real boy."
Sam snorted again and shook his head. Very quietly, his brother's teasing filled some of the ever-present emptiness in his gut. "Ravenous, huh?"
