Holding something in her hands, Sakura tried to stifle a giggle. This was the perfect present. She put the animal back into it's cage and went to the cash register where the woman greeted her.
"Ohayo, Miss. Sakura. Oh! You're buying this one. It looked so lonely and cute back there. I knew somebody kind-hearted like you would buy it."
Sakura giggled. "Arigato, It was just so cute. I couldn't resist."
After chatting for awhile, she finally paid and walked out of the store. She focused chakra to her feet and sped to a certain Sand country. Outside an apartment, she placed the cage, now bundled up lovingly, with a petal pink bow similar to the shade of her hair. She rang the bell and sped back to Konoha.
Later that night, Sakura was rudely awakened by a soft noise. She immediately crept out of bed and threw a kunai out the open window.
She heard something shuffling, like the sound of sand, and grinned. So he got the present. A soft grating noise approached Sakura's window and a large dark figure clambered in.
"Hello, Panda-san." Sakura giggled.
Garra grunted in response.
"I wasn't talking to you. And since when did you answer to Panda-san?" the reply from the kunoichi was accusing. Gaara glared at the pink-haired jounin.
"You're Panda-kun, baka!" His reply was to tackle his girlfriend and pin her to the bed.
"Tease."
"Am not"
Gaara stared fixedly at Sakura, his face unresponsive.
"Fine...maybe just a little bit." Satisfied with the answer, Gaara brought ordered the sand from his gourd to spill out. Fascinated, Sakura watched intently as the sand took the shape of a...surf board? On top the surf board was none other than Gaara-san.
"Aww...Gaara-san is such a cute panda, doncha think? He looks so much like you."
Again, Gaara stared at Sakura. "I missed you."
Weakened by his oddly romantic reply, Sakura nuzzled her face into his neck and mumbled, "I missed you too, Gaara-kun."
