"Everything will be fine, Koko. Just go to Cross Academy, and be a Guardian. Don't worry about your Father and I, we will come and get you as soon as we can." Koko's Mother said to Koko as she walked away from Koko. "Just remember, Koko. You are a Vampire Hunter. Not a Vampire." Koko's Father said. "I know Father. 'Don't be a Vampire, but a Vampire Hunter. Forget that I'm a Vampire. And be the Vampire Hunter, that I was born to be'. It's not the first time I've gone out on my own." Koko rolled her eyes at her Father as she said the last part. "Just promise me, you won't be a Vampire. All we want is for you to be a happy Vampire Hunter. Not a Vampire." Koko's Father said. "I know Father." Koko replied. "Remember, Koko. You are going to Cross Academy, to be a Guardian. Not a highschooler. Or be in school. You are going to help Zero, and Yuuki." Koko's Father reminded her, that going to Cross Academy, was a job, and not school. Since she has been homeschooled since she was born, Koko was glad that going to Cross Academy, was a job. "I know Father. And I'm glad, that going to Cross Academy, is going to be a job. And not school." Koko said, as she smiled, and hugged her Father, as she told him, "You should go Father, Mother is waiting, for you." Koko fought back tears as she told her Father to go, with her Mother. "I should, shouldn't I?" Koko's Father asked Koko, trying to spend just a little bit more time with Koko. "Yes Father, you should go. Mother will get mad." Koko said, thinking about her Mother. "You're right. As always. I'm so sorry about the way she treated you, for the last 4 years. It's not right. And you know it." Koko's Father looked at her with some of the saddest eyes Koko had ever seen. He was crying inside. He was leaving his daughter. His little girl. His little Princess behind. And he was sad. As Koko's Father was thinking about the past, Koko was remembering what her Mother did when she became a Vampire. They both came back down to Earth, when Koko's Mother started calling Koko's Father, saying that 'they had to go'. And that 'good-byes should not take this long'. Koko's Father, let Koko go. And went with his wife. Waving to his daughter, as he and his wife, walked away from the house they had lived in since Koko was born. Koko could see the tears in his eyes, as he walked away, with her Mother. Koko waved back, trying hard not to cry. Koko had just watched both her Mother and Father walk out of her life. Maybe forever. She did not know when she would she her Mother and Father, again. Soon after her Mother and Father left, Koko left to go and meet the Headmaster of Cross Academy, for the first time.
